Contact form

In case you submit information via the contact form we provide on the main page, we collect and store the information submitted by you to us and might use it later to get back to you in order to provide you with further information, ask you for further information, and/or to make you offers to you regarding our services.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Cookies set by Jetpack

This site uses the Jetpack plugin. Cookies are used by Jetpack in a variety of ways. The cookies set will depend on the specific features that are enabled on a site. The cookies are only set when a user interacts with one of these features.

Further details are provided here: Cookies set by Jetpack.

Some Jetpack features make use of third-party applications and services to enhance the experience of visitors. These may include social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter (via the sharing feature). As a result, cookies may be set by these third parties, and used by them to track your online activity. We have no direct control over or access to the information that is collected by these cookies. We recommend consulting the individual privacy policies of any such services for more information.

Currently, the site does not use any sharing features.

When you access and use our website, we collect data that your browser automatically sends to our server for technical reasons, in order to be able to display our website, and for security reasons. This information is stored in a temporary log file which contains the following data:

IP address of the device you are using to access our website
URL and name of the retrieved file
Date and time of access
Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
The browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You have the right to free information at any time about your personal data stored by us, their origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and a right to correction, blocking or deletion of these data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint or at contact (at) farrfoto.com if you have any further questions on the subject of personal or other data regarding you.
